Originally an internal tool, we discovered a community of Rails developers that wanted to make monitoring easier. Now it's easy to monitor all of the things that make your Rails apps unique. You can write your own Scout plugins with just a few lines of Ruby. This means you can load any Ruby library (even your Rails app environment) from within a plugin.

Just signup for an account, install our Ruby gem, and schedule Scout to run regularly thru Cron. Scout uses proven tools that just work.
